HBO Max confirms Season 3 of The Pitt ahead of Season 2’s premiere today at 11 p.m., with new episodes every Thursday.
HBO Max has renewed The Pitt for a third season before its second season even premieres. The announcement came from Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO of HBO and HBO Max Content, during the Season 2 launch event held last night in Los Angeles.
The Emmy®-winning medical drama is produced by John Wells Productions and Warner Bros. Television. Created by R. Scott Gemmill and led by Noah Wyle, the series returns to the platform today at 11 p.m., with new episodes dropping weekly every Thursday at the same time.
What to expect in Season 2 of The Pitt
Set in a present-day Pittsburgh hospital, The Pitt offers a grounded look at the emotional, professional, and human challenges faced by healthcare teams. The story follows front-line heroes and highlights the pressure that keeps the system running from the inside.
Noah Wyle returns as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch. The ensemble cast also includes Patrick Ball, Katherine LaNasa, Supriya Ganesh, Fiona Dourif, Taylor Dearden, Isa Briones, Gerran Howell, Shabana Azeez, and Sepideh Moafi, portraying a team shaped by constant urgency and decisions that can change everything.
