Márcia Goldschmidt is eliminated from MasterChef Celebrities after serving ceviche with strawberries and sparkling wine.
Tuesday night (2) marked the departure of Márcia Goldschmidt from MasterChef Celebrities.
The TV host chose to innovate by adding strawberries to a ceviche paired with sparkling wine, but the dish failed to convince the judges.
The panel, formed by Helena Rizzo, Henrique Fogaça and Erick Jacquin, found the combination unbalanced.
The French chef even said the plate looked like a fruit salad.
Despite the early elimination, Márcia reacted calmly to the result.
“I think it is part of the game. This is the game: you will win or lose and, at some point, leave. Only one will stay, so I am at peace,” she said in an interview with Band.com.br.
The contestant believes she stood out in the episodes aired so far.
“They always pointed at me to mess me up, take points away, put me on the spot. I had incredible protagonism,” she commented.
“Only Jacquin scolded me. Other than that, I found Helena very sweet, and Fogaça really supported me and believed in me.”
According to Márcia, her motivation to join the competition was to show another side of herself to the audience.
“People see me as a communicator, mediator, with a more serious side, but I am extremely playful,” she said.
Returning to the network’s studios was also emotionally meaningful for the host.
“It stirred my heart. I love this place, I spent most of my career here, so I meet friends in the hallways and feel truly cherished.”
Although she is not currently hosting any TV show, Márcia remains close to her fans through digital platforms.
“I am going back to my audience, because I am not on television, but I am still on the internet,” she concluded.
