Luis Ricardo leads the revival of the iconic “Viva a Noite”, back on SBT this Saturday (28) at 10:30 p.m., blending nostalgia and modern appeal.
Now hosted by Luis Ricardo, “Viva a Noite” returns to Saturday nights with a refreshed approach to one of Brazil’s most legendary TV formats. A hit in the 1990s under Gugu Liberato, the show comes back to unite generations through music, humor, and emotional memories.
“It’s like reigniting a flame that never went out in people’s memories and now shines stronger than ever,” says Luis Ricardo.
The show blends retro aesthetics with a modern rhythm, reviving classic segments like “Prova do Batimento Cardíaco.” Director Jefferson Candido calls the return both a strategic and emotional move, bridging nostalgic viewers with new generations.
The premiere features artists from various generations, including Nicki French, Os Abelhudos, As Marcianas, Jane e Herondy, Rádio Táxi, Trio Los Angeles, and Grupo Bom Bom. Host Luis Ricardo will also perform 15 songs throughout the season, reinforcing the show’s festive and musical essence.
Artistic director Mauro Lissoni highlights that the relaunch reflects SBT’s identity: “It’s not about repeating the past, but reinterpreting a TV landmark in tune with today’s audience.”
“Viva a Noite” premieres this Saturday (28) at 10:30 p.m., marking SBT’s renewed commitment to vibrant, interactive variety shows.
