VGLY raises the stakes in episode “El Beef”, now on HBO Max

The fifth episode of VGLY, “El Beef”, brings loyalty tests and urban drama; now streaming on HBO Max.

Rivalries, promises and broken bonds

In “El Beef”, the studio and the streets collide in a story where the past weighs heavily and promises come at a price. With Capo’s collaboration secured, Vgly sets out to record a track with Fierro Viejo, one of Mexico’s rising stars. But things get complicated when an old feud between Fierro and Capo resurfaces.

Fierro challenges Vgly with a series of unexpected tasks. Determined, Vgly and Flex take separate paths to try to reunite the two legends and get them to perform together at La Maña Fest, the biggest festival organized by CAOS Records.

As Vgly’s promises multiply, his ambition puts friendships, alliances and his own team’s balance at risk. A preview of his new love song becomes the key to winning Fierro Viejo’s support — but not without one final test that pushes Vgly to his limits.
