Delphi, a PHINIA brand, becomes the official sponsor of Drift Show Brasil in the 2026 Brazilian Drift Championship, providing parts and technical support.
PHINIA, a leader in premium fuel systems and automotive solutions, strengthens its ties with motorsport by partnering with Drift Show Brasil. The renewed alliance follows the team’s 2025 Rookie title and supports Lucas Hanazono as he moves up to the Pro category this season.
Founded in 2009 by Sérgio Hanazono, the team is one of Brazil’s drift pioneers. Lucas, his son, made history by becoming the youngest national champion at just 15 years old. “Winning the title was a dream come true. Having Delphi’s support this year makes all the difference,” says the young driver.
The team also includes drivers Doug Santana and Marcelo Horita, with Sérgio serving as team manager. “Having a parts supplier with Delphi’s level of excellence is essential for our sport,” adds Hanazono.
According to David Angelo, PHINIA’s marketing manager, drift embodies the brand’s values. “More than supporting a winning team, we want to turn this partnership into a platform for content and engagement. Drift reflects the performance and reliability we aim to deliver every day.”
The Brazilian Drift Championship 2026 kicks off on March 6 at Mega Space in Santa Luzia (MG), featuring Drift Show Brasil equipped with Delphi technology.
