Helio Castroneves, Thiago Camilo and Cesar Ramos lead Mercado Livre Racing, powered by the legendary A.Mattheis team in 2026.
Latin America’s e-commerce leader Mercado Livre has launched Mercado Livre Racing, its official team in the 2026 Stock Car Pro Series. The initiative strengthens the brand’s strategy of merging sports, technology and engagement, while highlighting its Vehicles, Parts & Accessories business unit — one of the largest on the platform.
Backed by A.Mattheis Racing, a Brazilian powerhouse with 68 victories and five drivers’ titles, the team brings together a star lineup: four-time Indy 500 winner Helio Castroneves, Stock Car’s all-time winningest driver Thiago Camilo, and experienced racer Cesar Ramos. Together, they will carry Mercado Livre’s technology and performance values to the track.
“The team’s energy is contagious. It’s an honor to see Mercado Livre investing heavily in Brazilian motorsport,” said Castroneves, who heads into his second full season in the series.
According to Roberta Donato, Mercado Livre’s VP of Marketplace, racing perfectly reflects the company’s DNA. “We stand for fast delivery, efficiency and customer experience. Mercado Livre Racing brings those same principles to the track.”
The project will also serve as a business hub through Mercado Ads, allowing partner brands to run activations and gain visibility on the cars, race suits and team media assets.
The 2026 season will feature 12 stages, starting in Curvelo (MG) on March 7–8, followed by races in Interlagos, Velocitta, Goiânia and Brasília, among others.
