Band broadcasts the Brazilian Grand Prix of MotoGP live from Goiânia, marking the sport’s return to Brazil after more than two decades.
The world’s top motorcycle racing championship roars back to Brazil this weekend at the Ayrton Senna International Circuit in Goiânia. The venue last appeared on the MotoGP calendar between 1987 and 1989 and now returns with exclusive live coverage from Band.
The special broadcast features play-by-play by Téo José, commentary from César Barros, and reports by Thiago Fagnani, alongside Band Goiânia’s local sports team.
New Brazilian star on the grid
São Paulo native Diogo Moreira debuts as the first Brazilian in the premier class since Alex Barros in 2007, after winning the Moto2 championship and earning his spot among the world’s best.
Broadcast schedule
The excitement begins on Saturday (21) with the sprint race at 2:45 p.m., following the qualifying session. The event awards the top nine finishers with points toward the season standings.
On Sunday (22), the Brazilian Grand Prix kicks off at 2:30 p.m., airing exclusively on Band for viewers across the country.
