Ubisoft launches The Division Resurgence worldwide: a free-to-play mobile RPG shooter set in an open-world New York, available now on iOS and Android.
Developed by a dedicated team at Ubisoft Mobile Games, the title is set in the Tom Clancy’s The Division universe, bridging the timeline between the first and second mainline games. Players step into the role of a newly activated Division agent as the Green Poison outbreak tears New York apart and opportunistic factions move in to fill the void.
A Brand-New Campaign
The campaign is fully standalone and starts with the Bootcamp, an introductory tutorial covering basic controls, the cover system, and specialization selection. From there, players take on main missions to fight back chaos, protect civilians, and restore order across the city.
The open-world map of New York is packed with activities: securing outposts, disrupting negotiations, rescuing hostages, and completing weekly missions. The game supports co-op with up to four agents, plus dedicated competitive modes.
Five Specializations, Four Factions
The Division Resurgence features five specializations, each with a powerful ultimate ability:
- Demolitionist: explosives and area damage expert
- Bulwark: defensive tank focused on team protection
- Field Medic: healer and support role
- Tech Operator: advanced gadget specialist
- Vanguard: versatile team leader
Enemy factions include Raiders, Rikers, Cleaners, and the new Freemen, a group obsessed with looting and hoarding, armed with exotic and improvised weapons.
Dark Zone Returns on Mobile
The iconic Dark Zone makes its mobile debut as a PvPvE open-world area with its signature high-risk extraction system. The Conflict mode offers dedicated PvP, where teams compete to control the map within a time limit.
Endgame content includes the Legendary Challenge, which randomizes main missions at Ultimate difficulty, and the Lone Wolf Challenge, a solo training ladder with performance-based rewards. A full clan system lets players pool resources and upgrade shared facilities.
