Turning 12, Arte da Natureza Hotel Bonito is rolling out the biggest expansion in its history. The upcoming openings underline a new market stance: a fuller, more upscale nature-integrated hotel in Bonito (MS), with leisure options for adults and kids and a stronger fine-dining angle.

Set in central Bonito, the property emphasizes easy access to shops, restaurants, and the destination’s signature tours—Bonito is widely known as Brazil’s ecotourism capital.

What’s new in the expansion

The project adds a new wing with 46 accommodations, including upper-tier categories and ground-floor units, all with private pools. It also includes two heated outdoor pools, a water park, a gym, a new restaurant, and dedicated facilities for events and incentive travel.

Once the new wing is delivered, the hotel will total 150 apartments. Of these, 89 will feature a private, temperature-controlled pool, reinforcing a promise of exclusivity, privacy, and comfort.

“This new expansion is a dream come true and takes Arte da Natureza to a new level of experience,” says Paul Maxwell, the company’s CVO.

Maxwell adds that guest delight and one-of-a-kind experiences linked to Bonito’s natural setting remain at the core, now backed by more structure, leisure areas, and new products—without giving up premium standards.

Two heated pools—and a suspended standout

The two new pools were designed to deliver different experiences. The main one spans 330 m², surrounded by jacuzzis and social areas, and features a dancing-water fountain at its center, scheduled for shows at specific times.

The second pool brings a bold design with 155 m² and a suspended structure, with glass sides and a glass bottom. The hotel says it will be the largest suspended pool in Brazil and among the largest worldwide with these features. The new rooms and pools are slated to open in early March.

Water park and gym in April

Scheduled for April, the water park and gym broaden the hotel’s family appeal. The water park totals 825 m², with multiple waterslides, a giant tipping bucket, and recreation staff—aiming to blend entertainment with relaxation in premium surroundings.

Dining: Angico Bistrô and Bacuri Bar

The expansion also strengthens the culinary pillar. Angico Bistrô offers an Italian-Mediterranean-inspired menu featuring local ingredients for lighter, fresher flavors. It complements Bacuri Bar, positioned as a reference for typical cuisine from Mato Grosso do Sul.

Both menus are signed and led by chef Sylvio Trujillo, whose career includes well-known restaurants in Brazil and abroad.

Event hall arrives in September

In September, Arte da Natureza is set to open an event hall with 375 m² and capacity for 205 people. The venue targets meetings, presentations, and incentive-travel conferences, as well as social and corporate events such as talks, shows, celebrations, and weddings.

The move positions the hotel as a full-service option for leisure and MICE in Brazil’s top ecotourism destination.

Sustainability focus

On sustainability, the hotel highlights a commitment to responsible hospitality by integrating environmental and operational practices into daily routines, translating that care into guest comfort and experience.
