Business travel surpasses R$1 billion and boosts hotels in 2026

With a 0.47% rise from 2025, corporate travel starts 2026 with over R$1 billion in revenue and lifts hotel occupancy in key cities.

According to a survey by Abracorp, Brazil’s corporate travel sector began 2026 on a positive note, surpassing R$1 billion in revenue. The segment grew 2.69%, reaching R$636.1 million and maintaining its leading position among travel-related businesses.

Hotels also recorded solid results, with a 0.97% increase and R$319.3 million in earnings. The return of in-person events and strategic meetings sustained a steady demand for corporate accommodation.

Leading destinations

São Paulo, Brasília, and Guarulhos stand out as Brazil’s main corporate travel hubs, offering structure, mobility, and a hotel network tailored to executives. The Matiz Manhattan São Paulo Hotel serves those seeking convenience near business districts. TRYP By Wyndham Brasília Nações fits institutional agendas, while Hampton by Hilton Guarulhos Airport caters to travelers relying on frequent air connections.

Patay notes that demand is visibly higher across the company’s hotels: “The rise in business-focused stays proves the market’s strength and our readiness to respond efficiently,” he says.
