From March 1 to May 31, Harry Potter fans celebrate Butterbeer with new desserts and exclusive merchandise across Universal parks.
Universal Destinations & Experiences is once again inviting fans to raise their mugs for the beloved Butterbeer Season 2026, now taking place at its theme parks in Orlando, Hollywood, Japan, and Beijing. The iconic wizarding drink returns with brand-new twists and sweets inspired by its famous buttery caramel flavor.
New treats in Orlando and Hollywood
At the Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood, the headline item is the new Butterbeer Waffle, available for a limited time at the Three Broomsticks and Leaky Cauldron. Guests can also enjoy the returning Butterbeer Cream Puff, along with inventive desserts like the Butterbeer Cupcake and Butterbeer Cookie Sandwich at Honeydukes and Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop.
The Orlando park will debut Butterbeer truffles and macarons, available year-round at K. Rammelle confectionery inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic at the upcoming Universal Epic Universe.
Global Butterbeer celebration
At the Universal Beijing Resort, guests can enjoy the seasonal Butterbeer Cream Puff and purchase a limited-edition collectible mug, the Harry Potter 25 Years of Magic Butterbeer Stein. Meanwhile, the Universal Studios Japan debuts the same dessert, along with exclusive themed products at Filch’s Emporium of Confiscated Goods.
