For Carnival 2026, diRoma Hotéis & Parques positions Caldas Novas as a family getaway with hot-spring waterparks, daily recreation and themed schedules.
While many Brazilians link Carnival to packed street parties in major cities, Caldas Novas (Goiás) keeps growing as a family holiday destination. In 2026, diRoma rolls out an integrated program combining hotels, waterparks and themed activities for travelers who want rest, organization and shared experiences away from the usual Carnival circuit.
With 14 lodging options across the city, diRoma Hotéis & Parques says it will run daily recreation at all units, aiming to serve different traveler profiles while highlighting the comfort of naturally warm thermal waters.
diRoma Acqua Park and thermal attractions
The plan includes diRoma Acqua Park, described by the group as one of Central-West Brazil’s leading hot-spring waterparks. The lineup features a wave pool, slides with varying intensity levels, a lazy river, kids’ areas and a recreation team active throughout the day.
Themed schedule at Thermas Hotel
At diRoma Thermas Hotel, the Carnival agenda targets children, teens and adults. Kids can expect costume contests, playful activities, balloon sculpting, an ice-cream festival and meet-and-greets with the mascot Romeu.
For adults, the schedule includes water activities, sports tournaments and social dynamics designed to connect guests. At night, families gather in Salão Itália for live music, serenades and recreational bingo.
Food highlights include a full barbecue sold by weight at Bar Seresta on 02/15, paired with live music. On 02/16, Bar Molhado hosts a themed Happy Hour with live music, the recreation team and a “Grito de Carnaval” moment.
Jardins Acqua Park: a water-based Carnival
Guests staying at the L’acqua diRoma complex (I to V) can also celebrate at Jardins Acqua Park, an exclusive waterpark inspired by Roman baths. Activities run throughout the holiday, mixing water games, interactive play and themed actions.
The peak date is 02/16, with a Carnival face-paint workshop, a trio elétrico-style roaming performance across the park areas and a live show on the Jardins Acqua Park stage.
