After serving as a floating hotel during the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) in Belém, the Costa Diadema returns to Brazil and arrives at the port of Santos on Friday, November 28, marking the start of its South American cruise season.

The first short cruise departed from Santos in the late afternoon, heading to Itajaí (SC) on a three-night trip. From December 2025 to April 2026, the ship offers three- and four-night itineraries departing from Santos, with stops in Itajaí and Ilhabela.

Starting with the Christmas itinerary, departing from Itajaí on December 20 and from Santos on December 21, Costa Diadema offers seven-night voyages through the Río de la Plata region, visiting Buenos Aires and Montevideo until March 2026.

Special sailings include Christmas, Carnival, and the 21st edition of Dancing at Sea. This themed cruise departs on March 14 and 15, 2026, from Itajaí and Santos, offering a full dance program with daily classes, afternoon socials, and evening balls.

With 1,862 cabins, including 756 with balconies, Costa Diadema combines comfort and elegance. The ship features 11 pools and jacuzzis, a theater, casino, shopping area, and sports court. For relaxation, it offers a gym with ocean views and the Solemio Spa with a thermal area and treatment rooms.

Children and teenagers enjoy age-appropriate activities at the Squok Club Baby, Squok Club, and Teen Zone, with indoor and outdoor spaces, including a water slide and pirate castle.

The ship’s gastronomy includes 11 restaurants, such as Teppanyaki and Sushino with Asian flavors, as well as Pizzeria Pummid’Oro and La Fiorentina Steak House. Guests can also enjoy 12 bars, including the Aperol Spritz Bar, Sunset Bar, and Gelateria Amarillo.

“We now offer a complete experience for our guests throughout the South American summer. We are confident this will be a successful season and are thrilled to bring once again the best of Italian hospitality, cuisine, and entertainment,” said Dario Rustico, executive president of Costa Cruises for the Americas.
