Registration is now open and free for the ExpoRio Turismo 2026 – Vale do Café, held in Ipiabas, district of Barra do Piraí. The event is part of the State Government’s plan to promote tourism in the countryside and celebrates the city’s anniversary with special activities.

Organized by Setur-RJ and TurisRio, the fair will bring together 14 municipalities from the Vale do Café region for a vibrant program of gastronomy, arts, and rural attractions, alongside panels and local products. The goal is to boost regional tourism and highlight the area’s identity and traditions.

“ExpoRio Turismo Vale do Café is a gift to the city and the entire region. It promotes our experiences and creates opportunities through culture and the creative economy,” said Secretary Gustavo Tutuca.

Mayor Kátia Miki emphasized the event’s local impact: “This fair showcases our region as a leading destination in the State, strengthening tourism and local economic growth.”

Registration is available online at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdlhl2drKDvwKZ8wpktDCSkMVfgEbBo6rS_iK_RuHsxgFYRPQ/viewform or through Setur-RJ’s official social networks.

The ExpoRio Turismo project travels across Rio de Janeiro to promote destinations, train the tourism trade, and generate regional economic opportunities. In 2025, editions were held in Costa Verde, Caminhos da Serra, and Agulhas Negras, reinforcing its key role in regional development.
