Fairmont Copacabana New Year blends luxury and view

Fairmont Rio welcomes 2026 with fine dining, live music, and a privileged view of Copacabana’s fireworks.

The Fairmont Rio Copacabana celebrates the arrival of 2026 with a blend of high-end gastronomy, exclusive experiences, and an iconic view of the world’s most famous fireworks. The celebration takes place at the elegant Marine Restô and the relaxed Tropìk Beach Club, reflecting the vibrant Carioca lifestyle with sophistication and emotion.

A symbol of five-star hospitality, the Fairmont combines international luxury with a Brazilian soul. The accommodations offer comfort and exclusivity, featuring sea-view balconies and suites with access to private spaces such as the Gold Lounge and Gold Solarium.

By day, the Fairmont Spa offers rituals inspired by Brazilian nature, while the Infinity Pool provides the perfect setting for a toast overlooking Copacabana Beach.

Gastronomy

The New Year’s Eve dinner at Marine Restô starts at 8 p.m. with a five-course menu by chef Jérôme Dardillac, who blends French techniques with tropical flavors. Highlights include red tuna with avocado, slow-cooked cod, and Angus filet mignon grilled in the Josper oven. A dessert of Belgian chocolate and red fruits crowns the evening.

After midnight, the celebration continues until 2 a.m. with comfort food, tropical fruit stands, chocolates, coffee, and liqueurs, all overlooking the sea and fireworks display.

Shows

Singer Adora opens the night at 8 p.m., followed by Pedro Mahal at 10:30 p.m. After the fireworks, the lobby transforms into a lively club with DJ Scarlet and violinist Daiana, performing until 4 a.m.

Tropìk Beach Club

On the sand, the Tropìk Beach Club invites guests to a seaside celebration full of Carioca charm. The dinner menu, designed for sharing, features tropical dishes such as hummus, smoked salmon, confit cod, shrimp rice, and desserts like coconut cake and Fairmont milk pudding.

After the fireworks, the after-party continues until 1 a.m. with lentil stew, a symbol of good luck. With performances by DJ Palomma and Felipe Miranda, the night blends fine dining and the vibrant spirit of Rio under the illuminated Copacabana sky.
