Over 30 million kilos harvested mark a 10% growth for Cooperativa Vinícola Garibaldi, highlighting quality and enological excellence.
The 2026 grape harvest brought celebration for Cooperativa Vinícola Garibaldi, which concluded on March 27 with results surpassing expectations. Favorable weather conditions and proper vineyard management ensured high-quality grapes, reinforcing the brand’s status in both Brazilian and international markets.
According to winemaker Ricardo Morari, the season promoted excellent vineyard development, leading to outstanding ripeness, health, and enological potential. “Good farming practices are most visible at times like this, ensuring that the work beginning in the soil is reflected in product quality,” he explains.
The harvest began early on December 31, with the first 20,000 kilos of grapes delivered that day. In total, around 60 grape varieties were received—45% vinifera grapes intended for wines and sparkling wines, and 55% for table wines and grape juices.
The cooperative currently has 470 members across nearly 20 municipalities in Brazil’s Serra Gaúcha, cultivating about 1,200 hectares of vineyards. The results reaffirm the strength of the cooperative model in driving quality and sustainability within Brazil’s wine industry.
