Up to 115% growth in seats and flights

GOL Linhas Aéreas, Brazil’s two-time punctuality champion, is launching a major regional expansion from Congonhas Airport (CGH) in São Paulo this March 2026. The airline is increasing flights by up to 115% in frequencies and available seats, adding 218 new regular operations in April compared to the same month in 2025. The move cements Congonhas’ role as the central hub of GOL’s domestic network.

The seven cities benefiting from new nonstop service are Londrina (LDB), Maringá (MGF), Uberlândia (UDI), Presidente Prudente (PPB), Araçatuba (ARU), São José do Rio Preto (SJP), and Ribeirão Preto (RAO). All routes are operated with Boeing 737 aircraft, seating up to 186 passengers.

Business and leisure travelers benefit

“Starting in March, when business travel picks up pace, GOL aims to serve its corporate clients with more frequency options, schedules and routes — without losing focus on leisure passengers,” said Mateus Pongeluppi, GOL’s Chief Commercial Officer. He highlighted that expanding into regional economic hubs reinforces the airline’s commitment to connectivity and regional economic development.

These destinations blend business and leisure passenger profiles, with growing demand for fast connections that allow same-day round trips. From Congonhas, GOL offers connections to over 30 cities across Brazil’s South, Southeast, Midwest and Northeast regions, including the iconic São Paulo–Rio de Janeiro air bridge.
