A Gol Linhas Aéreas aircraft now carries the Iguazu Falls across Brazil’s skies. The Boeing 737-700 features the slogan “Visite o Paraná” and highlights one of the country’s most iconic tourist destinations.

The livery includes symbols of Foz do Iguaçu, such as the waterfalls — one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World — and the toucan, emblem of the fauna protected within the Iguaçu National Park and the Bird Park, both devoted to Atlantic Forest conservation.

This tribute is part of the Conheça o Brasil: Voando (Discover Brazil: Flying) project, promoted by Abear in partnership with the federal government to encourage domestic tourism and make air travel more accessible. The aircraft’s design was developed by the Gol Creative Hub and Gol Aerotech engineering teams.

More flights and sustainable tourism

Gol has expanded its flight network to Foz do Iguaçu, strengthening tourism and connecting the destination to key Brazilian capitals. The Iguazu Falls and other UNESCO Natural Heritage attractions are now easier to reach, ideal for short trips and holiday getaways.

The expansion marks a new era for the region, driven by infrastructure investments and a focus on sustainable tourism. “When visitors realize they can reach the Falls in just a few hours, their plan turns into action,” said Mario Macedo Junior, CEO of Urbia+Cataratas. “We invite more Brazilians to experience the grandeur of nature up close.”
