Hilton Rio unveils 2025 summer program

Hilton Copacabana and Hilton Barra launch 2025 summer in Rio with lodging packages, beach activities, gastronomy and daily entertainment.

The summer season in Rio is in full swing and the Hilton Rio de Janeiro Copacabana and Hilton Barra Rio de Janeiro hotels have created a special summer program to make the most of the hot days. With experiences that highlight local culture, high-level gastronomy and leisure either by the beach or in the heart of Barra da Tijuca, both properties welcome hotel guests and local visitors.

For those looking to stay and enjoy the full summer agenda, the hotels offer the Experience the Stay package. The deal includes a daily credit of R$ 302 that can be used for breakfast or in the hotels’ restaurants and bars, giving guests more freedom to customize their stay.

Summer at Hilton Copacabana: beach, drinks and wellness

At Hilton Copacabana, the Rio 40° vibe inspires the Coração Carioca concept, with a series of activities throughout the season. Breakfast becomes lighter and more refreshing, with smoothies and iced coffee options. Right in front of the hotel, on the sands of Copacabana, guests can join free beach sports classes, including footvolley, beach volleyball and beach soccer on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6 a.m.

The summer leisure program also brings caipirinha workshops led by experienced bartenders and mocktail tastings. These experiences take place on alternating Saturdays at Clarí Bar, with two groups per day, inviting participants to explore Brazilian mixology in a relaxed atmosphere.

Those seeking relaxation can head to Anna Pegova Spa, on the 38th floor of Hilton Copacabana. The spa offers a special promotion for the Jet Lag + Resveratrol Mask protocol, which includes a medium-pressure relaxing massage on back, legs and feet, followed by facial cleansing. The full experience lasts 1h20 and costs R$ 490.

Gastronomy at Hilton Copacabana

Under the guidance of Argentine chef Pablo Ferreyra, Hilton Copacabana’s gastronomy features a daily program open to guests and walk-in customers.

Executive menu at Clarice Restaurant: available from Monday to Sunday, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., with starter + main course or main course + dessert for R$ 130 + tax, or the full three-course menu for R$ 160 + tax, including one non-alcoholic drink.

Happy hour at Clarí Bar (4th floor): every day from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., with selected snacks and 30% off. From Monday to Sunday, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., special combos of snack + drink offer 20% off. Options include Brazilian cheese boards, paella, pizza, bruschettas and drinks such as pitcher clericot, beer and wine by the glass.

Saturday barbecue: at Clarí Bar, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., a special barbecue awaits meat lovers, with prices starting at R$ 158 + tax.

Summer at Hilton Barra: family fun, flavors and music

At Hilton Barra, the summer program is designed for the whole family. Breakfast features a dedicated station for children, with items created especially for younger guests. Hotel guests also enjoy discounts at attractions in Shopping Metropolitano, just a short walk away: 15% off at Meta Kart, Meta Bowling and Youplay, and 10% off at Animasom.

Throughout the season, both Hilton Copacabana and Hilton Barra offer ice cream and açaí carts for guests, a fresh and tasty way to cool down on hot Rio days.

Nightlife and dining at Hilton Barra

Led by chef Felipe Moreira, the program at Abelardo Restaurant and At Rio Rooftop & Lounge brings different gastronomic and entertainment experiences every day of the week.

Mondays (6 p.m. to 11 p.m., Abelardo Restaurant): an evening of signature cocktails paired with appetizers, such as coffee Negroni with mini cheese board, or fruit-infused gin with salmon gravlax carpaccio. Prices start at R$ 68 + tax.

Tuesdays (6 p.m. to 11 p.m., Abelardo Restaurant): Italian flavors night with a variety of bruschettas and a live pasta and risotto station, served alongside a special wine selection. Prices start at R$ 85 + tax.

Wednesdays (5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Plaza area): food-truck style barbecue, with Aperol Kombi and a range of drinks to enjoy an outdoor sunset.

Thursdays (6 p.m. to 11 p.m., Abelardo Restaurant): a truly carioca experience with classic bar snacks such as pastéis, codfish fritters and pork crackling, plus caipirinhas in different flavors and live Brazilian acoustic music. Prices start at R$ 29 + tax.

Fridays: a special burger menu with sides is served at Abelardo Restaurant from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. At At Rio Rooftop & Lounge, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., the “Ao Vivo At Rio” night features a DJ and saxophonist, framed by an impressive view of Barra da Tijuca.

Saturdays: a traditional feijoada buffet with starters and dessert is served at Abelardo from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., for R$ 140 + tax per person. In the evening, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., the “Sonora At Rio” program brings a DJ set to the rooftop.

Sundays: a DJ animates the pool area at At Rio rooftop from 1 p.m. In the evening, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Abelardo hosts an exclusive five-course dinner created by executive chef Felipe Moreira, with wine pairing and live jazz, for R$ 195 + tax per person.
