Hotels offer special experiences for Brazil’s Black Awareness holiday

Resorts and hotels celebrate November 20 with live music, fine dining and wellness activities for guests and visitors.

The November 20 holiday, marking Brazil’s Black Awareness Day, offers the last long weekend of the year — and hotels across the country are preparing special programs to celebrate. Activities include musical events, themed dinners, wellness sessions and family entertainment, many of them open to non-guests.

Bourbon Resort Atibaia (SP)

Highlights include an exclusive show by Tony Gordon, DJ sessions, Rock Night with UnderPop, and Stand Up Comedy with Thiago Zap. In Florianópolis, the LK Design Hotel celebrates the holiday with a blend of music, gastronomy, and wellness. The program begins on November 20 with a live jazz night at the hotel bar, followed by a wine and glass-painting class with artist Bia Barros on the 21st.
