Iguaçu National Park launches Christmas program with musical attractions and a special show until December 26.
The end of the year gains a special glow at Iguaçu National Park. Home to the Iguaçu Falls, the park presents a Christmas program that enhances the visitor experience and positions the destination among the favorites of Brazilian families.
The initiative reinforces a new positioning for this season. According to Mario Macedo Junior, CEO of Urbia+Cataratas, the goal is to combine holidays, peak travel season and the Christmas spirit to create shared moments and a genuine connection with nature.
Cataratas Christmas Show — The Song of the Waters
Until December 26, visitors will find musical performances on selected dates and themed decorations throughout the visitor areas.
The highlight takes place from December 4 to 7, when the park hosts a musical that blends theater, music and nature. Starting at 6 p.m., tourists depart from the Visitor Center to follow the journey of Sifras, a boy searching for his own voice before the grandeur of the Falls.
The soundtrack will be performed by the Hydro Water Show, the artistic branch of the Paraguayan group Sonidos de la Tierra, the first orchestra in the world to use water-based instruments. Each night is limited to 200 participants.
