The Argentine winery Kaiken Wines has been ranked 36th in The World’s 50 Best Vineyards, a global list honoring the best wine destinations based on votes from more than 500 experts, including sommeliers, winemakers and journalists. The award highlights Kaiken as one of the leading enotourism attractions in South America.

Founded in 2002 by Chilean winemaker Aurelio Montes, Kaiken was praised for its authenticity, premium wines and breathtaking Andean setting. The jury described it as a destination that combines tradition, natural beauty and innovative wine experiences that go far beyond the glass.

Andean beauty and cross-border spirit

The name “Kaiken” pays homage to the wild geese that migrate from Chile to Argentina every winter, symbolizing the winery’s spirit of crossing borders. Surrounded by the Andes, Kaiken’s vineyards inspire both its wines and its philosophy of balance between nature, craftsmanship and modernity. Visitors can explore the Cava del Ángel, an underground cellar that preserves wines in ideal conditions and offers a serene atmosphere.

Francis Mallmann’s fire cuisine

Renowned Argentine chef Francis Mallmann brings his signature fire-based cuisine to the Kaiken estate through the outdoor restaurant Ramos Generales. The experience pairs the region’s flavors with Kaiken’s wines, blending authenticity and refinement. Mallmann also collaborated on the creation of https://www.kaikenwines.com/pt/vino/disobedience/Red-Blend“>Disobedience, a red blend that changes its composition every year.

An unforgettable wine experience

Visitors can enjoy guided vineyard walks, cellar tours and tastings of the winery’s emblematic labels, including its award-winning Malbec and the flagship https://www.kaikenwines.com/pt/vino/mai/Malbec“>Mai. With the Andes as a backdrop, Kaiken offers a full sensory immersion into the culture, nature and elegance of Argentine wine.
