La Mamounia, the century-old palace hotel in Marrakech, has unveiled its Spring 2026 program — a curated season blending haute cuisine, international wellness experts, Pierre Hermé‘s Easter confections and an immersive art exhibition by French artist Elisabeth Busson. The calendar runs from March through May, peak travel season for international visitors heading to the Northern Hemisphere.

A Tribute Thirty Years in the Making

From April 16 to 18, La Mamounia pays homage to Paul Bocuse (1926–2018), the defining figure of French gastronomy. The tribute echoes a legendary moment: in 1996, the hotel hosted Bocuse’s 70th birthday celebration. Three decades later, that memory returns to the dining room.

The dinners will be led by Gilles Reinhardt, Meilleur Ouvrier de France and head chef of the Restaurant Paul Bocuse in Lyon, holder of two Michelin stars. His menu balances classical French tradition with precise, contemporary technique.

In 1996, Paul Bocuse celebrated his 70th birthday at La Mamounia. Thirty years later, Gilles Reinhardt brings that memory back to the table.

Highlights include blue lobster in lemongrass broth, pike and lobster quenelles with Champagne sauce and Ossetra caviar, boeuf en croûte with Périgueux sauce and the millefeuille Fhlor, a creation by Pierre Hermé. Wine pairings feature Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Le Champ Gain (Domaine Vincent Girardin, 2022) and Sainte-Foy-Côtes-de-Bordeaux Château Martet (2020, Magnum).

World-Class Wellness Residencies

Between April 15 and May 21, La Mamounia’s spa welcomes three internationally acclaimed specialists. Renowned hairstylist David Mallett, a fixture at the world’s leading fashion weeks, will be in residence from April 15 to 17. In May, therapist Martine de Richeville (May 14–15), known for her body sculpting techniques, and facialist Jeanne Casimir (May 20–21) will follow.

Easter by Pierre Hermé

The Easter program revolves around the Ludique collection, designed by Pierre Hermé exclusively for the hotel’s boutique. Inspired by the world of games and themed around Playfulness, the line features chocolates referencing chess and darts.

From March 30 to April 5, the Salon de Thé by Pierre Hermé and the Menzeh space offer themed afternoon teas, including the Ispahan mocktail, champagne variations and alcohol-free drinks.

Art You Can Touch

Starting April 5, six works by French artist Elisabeth Busson will be installed throughout the hotel’s common areas. The pieces belong to her Haptilism series — a technique using relief on acrylic to create tactile surfaces drawing from stained glass traditions and handcraft. In a world dominated by screens, the exhibition invites guests to rediscover the sensory experience of touch.

A Palace Built for the Long Game

Founded in 1923, La Mamounia sits on eight hectares of historic gardens near the Medina of Marrakech, planted with rose bushes, olive trees, palms and orange trees. In 2023, designers Sanjit Manku and Patrick Jouin led a major renovation that refreshed common areas and restaurants while preserving the property’s architectural soul.

The hotel offers 135 rooms and suites, three pools, tennis courts, a game room and a 2,500 m² spa with traditional hammams. Its restaurant lineup spans Moroccan, Italian and Asian cuisines, plus a dedicated pâtisserie. With a team of approximately 800 staff, the property personalizes each stay through a detailed guest preference system.

Its location places guests within easy reach of the Koutoubia Mosque, Jemaa el-Fna square, the Majorelle Garden, Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs and the Palmeraie district.
