Lapinha Spa, nestled in the Atlantic Forest of Paraná, Brazil, has just unveiled the Sonorium Therapy Kiosk — making it the first medical spa in the Americas to house an official Sonorium Svaram room. Developed by SVARAM, an internationally recognized organization in sound healing, the space was designed specifically for therapeutic, medical, and integrative applications.
Sound Healing has been part of Lapinha’s integrative approach since 2021, led by Gabriela Brephol, the spa’s COO and the professional behind the development of its sound therapy programs. The Sonorium elevates that work by providing an architecturally intentional environment built to deepen every layer of the experience.
Inside the Sonorium experience
The Sonorium features handcrafted instruments arranged in archetypal geometry around the Nidranantar — a vibrational bed that redefines the traditional massage table. During each session, patients feel distinct frequencies and sound layers resonating directly through the body.
The experience blends natural and archaic sounds with frequencies tuned through Just Intonation, anchored to the reference tone of C 256 Hz. Materials such as stone, ceramic, shells, seeds, and water generate a polarity between structured and primordial sounds, promoting deep relaxation, integration, and internal reorganization.
The arrival of the Sonorium refines this work, structuring the experience in an environment developed specifically for therapeutic, medical, and integrative applications.
Nature immersion and the Nidra/Alpha state
Set inside a kiosk surrounded by lush forest, the space offers individual sessions lasting approximately one hour. The physical and tactile vibrations throughout the session guide participants into the Nidra/Alpha state of consciousness — associated with deep rest, mental clarity, and a sense of overall balance.
