The clock is ticking for families to experience the Crazy Maze with Monica’s Gang at Parque Bondinho Pão de Açúcar® (Sugarloaf Mountain Park). The attraction has been extended through March 1st — Rio de Janeiro’s anniversary — due to its overwhelming success. This is the final week to explore this one-of-a-kind immersive adventure set against one of the world’s most iconic backdrops.
Two Brazilian icons, one unforgettable experience
Parque Bondinho, Brazil’s oldest tourist attraction still in operation, kicked off 2026 with a landmark partnership with MSP Estúdios, the studio behind the beloved Monica’s Gang franchise. The experience transforms key areas of Morro da Urca into a trail of puzzles, games, and imagination, inspired by the quirky and unpredictable character Louco (Looney).
The journey begins at Praça dos Bondes, winds through the Guanabara Bay Space (EBG), and reaches its climax at the Mirante Maria Ercília viewpoint, where the main maze challenges visitors to unlock their creative minds amid sensory scenarios and winding paths.
How the adventure unfolds
The experience is structured in stages designed to spark curiosity and a sense of discovery. Children first uncover a secret drawer inside a theatrical dresser and receive their Crazy Passport. Next, they solve a riddle inside the Cube of Crazy Mirrors. Finally, they dive into the grand Crazy Maze itself — a sensory, interactive playground where parents are just as welcome to get lost as the kids.
