Swiss Group launches Lido di Mare by Swiss on Jan 21 in Balneário Camboriú, with a members-only beach club and a Mediterranean restaurant open to all.
The new oceanfront venue sits on Estaleirinho Beach (Avenida Rodesindo Pavan, 1635) and marks the group’s first operation in the city. The beach club is positioned as a premium space reserved for members of the Swiss Private Members Club (Swiss Club Balneário Camboriú), while the on-site Mediterranean restaurant will welcome residents and visitors.
The restaurant’s public opening is scheduled for January 21 at 7 pm. The concept highlights fresh seafood and pasta, aiming for classic Mediterranean flavors and fragrant combinations.
A premium beach club plus Mediterranean dining
Beyond introducing a new beachfront hotspot, Lido di Mare by Swiss ties into a broader investment plan in Balneário Camboriú. The beach club is part of the ecosystem connected to the future Swiss Club Balneário Camboriú, presented as a one-of-a-kind leisure and entertainment complex in Brazil.
According to the group, the project blends high-end experiences on the coast with tourism, wellness, and sports infrastructure. Estaleirinho Beach, where Lido di Mare is located, is referenced in the announcement as a Blue Flag–certified beach.
Indoor snow park and a luxury resort
The Swiss Club Balneário Camboriú project was unanimously approved by the City Council on December 16, 2025. It is planned for the Nova Esperança neighborhood, near the BR-101 highway, on a 166,000 m² site with an estimated built area of about 180,000 m² and a 20% occupancy rate, Swiss Group says.
The projected investment totals R$ 800 million, with an estimate of around 600 direct jobs and 1,000 indirect jobs. Operations are expected to begin within 36 months after licensing, and the company forecasts an average two-day increase in visitors’ length of stay.
Membership model and day use
Instead of traditional timeshare or fractional ownership, Swiss Club adopts a patrimonial title model, granting lifetime usage rights and club membership status. The sales structure, the announcement states, has official authorization from Brazil’s Ministry of Finance under certificate no. SPA 016/2025.
Even with its private-club positioning, the complex is also designed to host the general public. Plans include day-use access to the snow park and stays at the integrated resort, expanding who can experience the project.
Four pillars and 40+ spaces
Swiss Group describes the development as an ecosystem with more than 40 exclusive spaces across four pillars. The Snow Club will combine an indoor ski and snowboard station with an Alpine Village, an ice-skating rink, restaurants, and cultural attractions.
The luxury resort will feature 288 suites integrated into the complex. The Sports & Wellness Club focuses on health, wellbeing, and training, including a ski and snowboard training center aimed at beginners and professional athletes.
The fourth pillar is the Lido di Mare Beach Club on Estaleirinho Beach, positioned for leisure and entertainment in a sophisticated setting. Within that pillar, the Mediterranean restaurant is the only component announced as open to the general public.
Infrastructure and partners
The master plan includes a covered parking facility with more than 1,800 spaces, along with hospitality, dining, and shared social areas. The project is being developed by Swiss Group in partnership with the Swiss Private Members Club Association, reinforcing its international ambition.
