The new Christmas light show at Roda Canela turns the 52-meter attraction into a dazzling night spectacle full of emotion.
Serra Gaúcha’s Christmas season rises to new heights with “O Despertar do Natal,” the latest light show at Roda Canela. Every evening at 7:30 p.m., the 52-meter Ferris wheel transforms into a radiant stage of colors, music and storytelling that delights visitors of all ages.
Lasting six minutes and thirty seconds, the show blends vivid light displays and narration that inspires imagination and emotion. “From above, we invite everyone to feel Christmas in a different way. The lights awaken with the audience’s energy, bringing dreams and wishes to life,” says Caren Urbani, Marketing Director of Roda Canela.
To meet the high demand of the Christmas season, Roda Canela is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., allowing visitors to experience stunning 360° views of Canela by day, at sunset or when the Christmas lights illuminate the city.
The attraction features 30 closed and air-conditioned cabins that can accommodate up to six people, along with a gourmet area and souvenir shop offering exclusive gifts.
Tickets and experiences
Adult: R$80 – one shared ride.
Half-price: R$50 – for children (4–12), students, seniors, and eligible visitors with documentation.
Karaokê Chilli Beans Cabin: R$360 – up to four people, two rides, karaoke with 12,000 songs and soft drinks included.
VIP Group Cabin: R$410 – up to six people, fast boarding, two rides, and non-alcoholic beverages.
VIP Couple Cabin: R$310 – two guests, chocolates, sparkling wine, and fast boarding.
Kids Criamigos Cabin: R$290 – up to four people, one ride, hot chocolates and candies.
