Tiradentes combines two major Christmas events with free programming from November 14 to December 28, 2025.
The charming town of Tiradentes, in Minas Gerais, begins its Christmas celebrations with an unprecedented union of the Natal Tiradentes, in its 7th edition, and the Natal nos Trilhos, now in its second edition. Known for its hospitality and cultural richness, the city transforms into an illuminated holiday setting.
The fusion creates a festival filled with tradition, faith and emotion. The free program runs from November 14 to December 28, 2025. According to organizer Luiz César Costa, integrating the events strengthens tourism throughout the Campo das Vertentes region.
For Filipe Martins, director of Mart Minas and Dom Atacadista, the celebration highlights the value of mineiro culture. He describes the Christmas festivities in Tiradentes as a gift to Minas Gerais.
Main attractions
The event features a wide range of attractions, including the House of Santa Claus, the Santa Claus Troupe at Largo das Forras, mapped projections at the Church of Rosário, musical performances and theater presentations. One of the highlights is the return of the nighttime steam train, offering a magical “snowy” ride between Tiradentes and São João del-Rei.

The celebration reaffirms Tiradentes’ commitment to sustainable tourism and community engagement. With colonial streets lit up, traditional gastronomy and choirs filling the air, the city invites everyone to experience an authentic Christmas.
