A cultural walk among vineyards and historic chapels closes the Vale dos Vinhedos Festival this Sunday, March 29.
On the final day, visitors are invited to experience the region at a slower pace with “Vivendo o Vale”, a guided walk through alternative vineyard trails that connect landscape, culture, and local life.
The route begins at Capela das Neves, in Linha 6 da Leopoldina — built between 1904 and 1907 using wine instead of water in the mortar — and ends at Famiglia Tasca. Before setting out, participants will enjoy a special breakfast on site.
Every two kilometers, stops offer cultural moments with music, tastings, stories about the terroir, and encounters with local producers and residents. The walk also includes visits to historic churches and chapels, revealing the religious and cultural heritage of the Vale dos Vinhedos region.
Beyond the walk, wineries, restaurants, and accommodations associated with Aprovale will host special programs, thematic menus, and exclusive offers. Participating lodgings also provide discount vouchers for cultural and wine-related experiences.
