Cataratas de Natal brings the H2O orchestra and special Christmas programming to Iguaçu National Park.
An unprecedented show at Iguaçu Falls
Iguaçu Falls, one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature, hosts a Christmas celebration unlike any other. From December 4 to 7, Urbia+Cataratas presents Cataratas de Natal — O Canto das Águas, a show that blends music, theater, emotion and the power of water in the vast scenery of Iguaçu National Park.
The main attraction is the Paraguayan orchestra H2O Sonidos de La Tierra, known for producing melodies with instruments that use water as a sound source. The experience resonates deeply with the spirit and energy of the falls.
Christmas programming
From November 23 to December 26, visitors enjoy special Christmas activities, including musical performances and themed decorations across the visitation areas. The initiative places Iguaçu National Park among Brazil’s top holiday destinations.
The Singing Waters
Created by Hydro Water Show, the presentation offers a sensory journey from the moment visitors arrive. The musical integrates art, water and nature under the sunset at Iguaçu Falls, celebrating life and the planet’s natural strength.
“The show invites reflection on humanity’s relationship with the planet and reinforces Christmas as a time for renewal,” says CEO Mario Macedo Junior. Sessions take place at the first lookout point and have limited capacity.
Tickets and park innovations
Tickets are available at the park’s official website: www.cataratasdoiguacu.com.br. The first batch costs R$ 200 per person and includes access to the lookout where the performance happens.
The project integrates ongoing investments by Urbia+Cataratas and ICMBio. By 2030, around R$ 600 million will be allocated to new attractions and revitalization. New trails, a paved bike lane and experiences such as Sunrise, Sunset and Sky of the Falls expand the visitor offer.
“The show enhances the visitor experience and strengthens our commitment to meaningful and nature-connected encounters,” says commercial manager Cássia Dantas. The improvements reinforce the park’s position as a global model of responsible tourism.
