KVSH and Ouro Preto Orchestra release a new single on January 16. The track fuses electronic and classical music, inspired by Bach.
After the impact of their first joint release, KVSH and the Ouro Preto Orchestra are set to surprise audiences again. The duo is preparing the second single of a project that redefines the boundaries between classical and electronic music. The new track arrives on all digital audio and video platforms on January 16, 2026.
The new song draws inspiration from one of Johann Sebastian Bach’s most iconic works. The result is a bold and intense mix, described as a “Big Bang” of aesthetics. Orchestral grandeur meets the pulse of the dancefloor in a dialogue marked by innovation.
The creative challenge
The process was born from a mutual challenge between conductor Rodrigo Toffolo and KVSH. The radical proposal divides the repertoire: the orchestra reinterprets the DJ’s hits, while he recreates concert classics with electronic language. Thus, a direct bridge was built between the score and the drop.
This release follows the success of “Potter 3.0”, the partnership’s first single. The previous track quickly gained prominence on platforms and sold out performances at Lagoa dos Ingleses and Palácio das Artes.
“Bach has always been a provocateur. This work takes that affront to the present, with another energy, another aesthetic, and the same restless spirit,” states conductor Rodrigo Toffolo.
Limitless energy
For Luciano Ferreira, known as KVSH, the track expands his artistic horizons. He highlights that the goal was not to soften the classical work, but to intensify it.
“The idea was to take Bach to a place of maximum energy, where the orchestra’s power meets the pressure of the dancefloor without concessions. It is an orchestra without limits,” explains the DJ.
The single is distributed by oneRPM and released by MSK Records label.
