On Friday (Jan 30), Roberto Menescal and Cris Delanno return with “O Lado B da Bossa,” named after their newly released album. The show spotlights lesser-known songs, shaped by Menescal’s arrangements and his signature refinement—rooted in the dialogue between jazz phrasing and samba swing.Menescal’s guitar and Cris’s voice lead the night, backed by a tight trio: Adriano Souza (piano and organ), Adriano Giffoni (bass), and João Cortez (drums). The set includes “Ah, Se Eu Pudesse,” “Chora Tua Tristeza,” “Deixa,” “Era Copacabana,” “O Negócio é Amar,” and “Esse Seu Olhar/Promessas.”
