Luiz Carlini and Lucinha Turnbull bring São Paulo’s rock history to life in groundbreaking 360° VR immersion, launching February 26.
Dive into Brazil’s Rock Cradle
São Paulo’s rock scene exploded in the 1960s, blending Brazilian sounds with psych and prog via bands like Os Mutantes and Secos e Molhados. “ROCK SP 360°” now immerses viewers in that vibrant legacy through interactive VR.
Iconic guitarists Luiz Carlini and Lucinha Turnbull (Tutti Frutti), Faiska (Joelho de Porco), and Kleber K. Shima (Hot Rocks) share raw memories. Sérgio Hinds (O Terço) narrates audiovisual clips, timelines, and a special Teatro Unicid gig.
Rock is timeless. Wrapping it in 3D immersion shows tradition and innovation jamming together.
Crafted by TriArts New Media, VR pioneers since 2001, it mixes rare footage from DJ Club sessions with modern tech twists curated by Kleber K. Shima.
Soundtrack Spans the Decades
Tracks range from “Freak Out” (OTE, 1960s) to “New Stage” (Kleber K. Shima, 2020), hitting gems like “The Way Life Goes” (Jaw Square, 1970s) and “Tracer Ammo” (Jaw Square, 2010s).
Funded by EDITAL FOMENTO CULTSP – PNAB 04/2024, it’s free on smartphones, PCs, or VR headsets.
