VICTIN blends rap, trap, and worship on “Faith and Gratitude” with MC Davi—then asks a hard question: what would your last prayer be?
Singer-songwriter VICTIN continues unfolding the layers of his album SHUV with the new single “Faith and Gratitude”, a collaboration with MC Davi. It’s the project’s third single and doubles down on a focused vision: pairing urban sounds with a Christian message that feels deep, present-day, and easy to connect with.
On the track, VICTIN leans into “rhymed worship” over punchy rap and trap production. MC Davi brings his own tone and cadence, shaping a meeting point between faith language and street-level energy. Together, they frame the song as a statement of gratitude that can speak across different audiences.
The question at the center
The song pivots on a simple, disarming prompt: what would your last prayer be? From there, the narrative shifts away from asking for things and toward giving thanks. The lyrics highlight God’s unearned grace and reaffirm Jesus as salvation, pushing listeners toward spiritual awareness, humility, and gratitude as a way of life.
“I was happy about the collaboration. I’m excited, and it’s a strategic way to break out of the bubble and reach the streets. The song isn’t only for believers—it’s for everyone,” VICTIN says

Inside SHUV
“Faith and Gratitude” continues what VICTIN calls the most important project of his career. Earlier releases include “Calma Filho” and “Me Guia Em Tua Luz”, the latter featuring Maria Marçal. Recorded in São Paulo, SHUV will have 8 tracks and features Maria Marçal, MC Davi, and Lukas Agustinho.
Music production is handled by Cabrera, known for major Brazilian hits such as “Loka” (Anitta feat. Simone & Simaria) and “Rainha da Favela” (Ludmilla). Artistic direction comes from Mess Santos, aiming for a modern, high-impact gospel aesthetic shaped by hip-hop and barrier-breaking language.
What “Shuv” means
In Hebrew, “Shuv” (שׁוּב) means to return, change direction, and get back on the right path. That idea anchors the album’s themes—repentance, restoration, and real-life transformation. “It’s not just about changing your mind, but changing your path,” the artist explains.
Known for direct lyrics and an identity that bridges Christian culture and secular listeners, VICTIN keeps building his place within a new wave of contemporary Christian music. He moves between rap, trap, spoken poetry, and pop while staying rooted in spiritual content and message.
