Ash Wednesday may end the calendar, but not the party: Casa Natura Musical adds three post-Carnival nights with Bloco Bastardo, Bruna Alimonda, and Jaloo.From February 19 to 21, Casa Natura Musical stretches Carnival 2026 into a three-night farewell that moves from street energy to ballroom flair to electronic pop. The run closes a season that, since January, has brought together artists, blocos, and dance parties under Natura’s cultural program and the theme “Tem mistura, tem cultura, tem Natura,” turning the venue into a hub for creative encounters.For Natura, the goal is to keep the city’s most powerful gathering ritual alive a little longer. “Carnival is an important cultural expression in Brazil. Our mission, as a brand that values culture, is to foster the diversity, creativity, and joy that define our Carnival. In that sense, Casa Natura Musical’s program goes beyond the official dates, creating moments that celebrate the plurality and strength of our culture,” says Julia Ceschin, Head of the Natura Brand and Strategic Marketing Brazil.

Post-Carnival lineup at Casa Natura Musical

The party resumes on Thursday, $19.02$, with Bloco Bastardo. Right after its traditional São Paulo street parades, the group brings “O Carnaval é Soberano!” to the stage, blending original songs with Brazilian popular songbook classics—keeping the collective, irreverent, and political spirit that defines its trajectory.On Friday, $20.02$, Bruna Alimonda takes over with her “Baile do Diabo Louro,” mixing MPB, Latin American rhythms, and romantic brega for a warm, dance-first night. She welcomes special guests Augusta Barna, Caetana, Jader, and Fitti.Saturday, $21.02$, closes with Jaloo’s “Gala Profana,” a Carnival-specific show inspired by classic televised Carnival balls. The concept invites the crowd to show up in their best looks, as Jaloo reworks major hits into new versions that connect music, performance, and dancefloor. The night also features DJ Ad Ferrera and a special appearance by Johnny Hooker.

Bloco Bastardo’s story and sound

Founded in 2013, Bloco Bastardo’s band was led by Maestro Mujica until 2020. Its sound combines a brass section (trumpet, trombone, saxophone), percussion (snare-style drums and surdos), and a line of singers that shape the bloco’s signature aesthetic.The bloco emerged during what became known as São Paulo’s “street Carnival renaissance.” Its founders took part in Manifesto Carnavalista (2011), which helped open dialogue with city officials and contributed to the decree that formalized street Carnival—recognizing these traditions as legitimate under Brazil’s Constitution.Over 12 years, Bloco Bastardo has kept Brazil’s Carnival songbook alive with marchinhas, samba, frevo, and more—drawing from composers such as Lamartine Babo, Braguinha, Noel Rosa, Alceu Valença, Haroldo Lobo, and José Roberto Kelly. At the same time, it built a strong original catalog, with melodies composed by Maestro Mujica and lyrics written collectively, committing to at least one new song each year as musical chronicles of São Paulo and national life.
