Brazilian psychological thriller
Quarto do Pânico remakes David Fincher’s 2002 hit. Helmed by Gabriela Amaral Almeida, scripted by Fabio Mendes, it screened at Rio Festival 2025.
Local twists amp the dread. Isis Valverde plays Mari, moving to São Paulo with Bel (Marianna Santos). Three intruders – Marco Pigossi, Caco Ciocler, André Ramiro – force them into the panic room. The fortune they crave? It’s there.
