Veronica Leoni revives 70s iconography at Calvin Klein

Calvin Klein Collection Fall 2026 runway showcased hedonistic elegance with precise tailoring, archive 1976 denim and celebrities like JENNIE and Dakota Johnson.Calvin Klein presented yesterday, February 13, the Fall 2026 Calvin Klein Collection runway show at The Shed in Hudson Yards, New York City. The collection by Veronica Leoni explores the hedonistic elegance that defines the brand’s DNA: the cult of the body, the satisfaction of accentuating its perfection and the obsessive pursuit of beauty.The creative director’s reductionist approach intensifies the dialogue between garment and body through amplified precision. “This season was shaped by an investigation into Calvin Klein’s strong iconography history and a rigorous exploration of form, craft and meaningful simplification,” said Veronica Leoni. “I wanted to narrow my expression of elegance and style in the spirit of how the brand defined it in the late 1970s and early 1980s, with an intimacy and focus on form and body to evoke a sense of empowerment and indulgence that is distinctly Calvin Klein.”

Archive denim and reinvented essentials

Denim took center stage through an interpretation of archive 1976 denim — the first ever presented on Calvin Klein’s runway. A complete denim suit worn under fitted coats featured the original handwritten logo embroidered on an aviator jacket and plaid trench coat.The collection conveys its essence through essential items: tailoring, trench coats, bombers, coats and dresses paired with stiletto heels, flats, boots, clutches and travel bags, plus tonal gloves.

High silhouette and creative tension

The silhouette is high and straight across all styles. Precise slim tailoring with unexpected back necklines and sleeveless details creates tension, while intensely crafted dresses feature contrasting smooth backs revealing inner layers.White collars emerge while biker collars add a rugged touch. Fur collars suggest grandeur before expanding into a fur coat. Texture and color define an urban landscape of neutrals and soft tones occasionally illuminated by tangerine or burgundy.Fabrics range from tailoring wools to ribbed jersey, wet velvet, double-faced satin, cottons, grosgrains and spazzolato leathers, both opaque and transparent.
