Dark dreams and hope intertwine in Ciro Palomino’s exhibition “Morpheus: Nightmares and Awakenings” at Centro Cultural Correios RJ.The show explores humanity’s darkest conflicts—war, self-destruction, and environmental crisis—through the lens of the mythical god Morpheus. Curated by Carlos Bertão with exhibition design by Alê Teixeira and support from the Consulate General of Peru in Rio de Janeiro, it explores the tension between fear and rebirth.

Born in Peru and educated at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, Palomino is a UN consultant and award-winning artist recognized for his socially engaged works. Since 2016, after receiving a UN award, he has led the Consciousness Project, shown in cities like New York, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Seoul.
