On International Women’s Day, Brazilian curve brand Ashua launched a 10-look anniversary collection blending fashion, representation, and social impact.
A Decade Built From the Inside Out
Since its founding in 2016, Ashua has challenged the fashion industry’s standard approach. Instead of simply scaling up sizes from a straight-size base, the Brazilian curve and plus-size brand designs every piece starting from the curvy body itself — accounting for the real proportions of shoulders, bust, waist, hips, and arms.
To mark its 10th anniversary, Ashua unveiled a commemorative collection on International Women’s Day featuring ten curated looks that trace the brand’s journey. Iconic silhouettes, bold colors, and signature prints return in contemporary reinterpretations, honoring the identity that won over a loyal community of women.
Looks That Tell a Story
The Ashua anniversary collection moves effortlessly between casual and sophisticated. Timeless prints like polka dots and animal print appear in fresh new versions. Magenta tailoring takes center stage. Denim, a constant thread throughout the brand’s history, also returns with new interpretations.
Each look reads as a chapter in a collective story — built alongside the women who have followed the brand from the beginning. The goal is not to chase trends, but to reflect real moments in Ashua’s history.
Influencers, Confidence, and Social Change
Among the collection’s highlights are three T-shirts featuring self-confidence phrases created by influencers who have been part of the brand’s journey: Mari Lobo, Lilla Marinho, Jessica Lopes, and Letticia Muniz. These pieces carry meaning beyond style — a portion of sales will be donated to projects supported by the Instituto Lojas Renner.
The funds will support programs in two areas: socio-productive inclusion and community engagement initiatives, encompassing financial donations, training activities, technical advisory services, and the development of action networks aimed at creating positive impact for women.
“When our customers wear a piece designed to follow their curves, provide support, and balance proportions, they experience in practice everything Ashua stands for: well-being, representation, and fashion with purpose. Our commitment is to respect every body with pieces that combine fit, comfort, and style.” — Lethícia Fernandes, Ashua Fashion Designer
