Every Sunday in April at 4 PM, Carioca Shopping’s Food Court hosts free live shows featuring magic, live music, and Brazilian pagode for the whole family.
The Acontece na Praça project returns this April with three distinct attractions — all free of charge. Held every Sunday at the Carioca Shopping Food Court, the series brings together entertainment for children, teens, and adults in the heart of Vila da Penha, in Rio’s North Zone.
Full April lineup
The series kicks off on April 12 with Mágico Fran, a magician known for stunning illusions and crowd interaction. It’s a perfect outing for families with children.
On April 19, Banda V-Trix takes the stage with an energetic musical set that promises to liven up the Food Court and get the crowd moving.
The month wraps up on April 26 with Grupo de Pagode Nova Mente, delivering the laid-back samba and pagode vibes that define a classic Rio weekend.
