On February 27, Fabiana Grieco launches “Bom Amar” at Bibla Bookstore, inspired by “Fullgás”, featuring a live pocket show by DIMAS.
In her new poetry book “Bom Amar” (Urutau, 2025), journalist, writer, and professor Fabiana Grieco transforms the everyday rhythm of the São Paulo subway into a space of poetic encounter. Through brief, intense poems, she narrates a love story born from exchanged glances, all in sync with Marina Lima’s iconic song “Fullgás”, written by the late poet Antonio Cicero.
Literature meets live music
After Carnival, the spirit of fantasy lingers in Vila Madalena. On Friday, February 27, at 7 PM, Grieco launches her new book at Bibla Bookstore. The evening will include a special pocket concert by DIMAS (Universal Music Group), performing his own pieces and the song that inspired the book’s atmosphere, along with “Eu tinha a música”.
A love in three acts
Structured in three acts — awakening, surrender, and connection — Grieco’s poetic narrative traces the emotional evolution of love. Each poem feels cinematic, evoking an urban rhythm where passion meets reflection. The collection reinvents 1980s intensity for a contemporary reader.
“Antonio Cicero wrote ‘everything in you is fleeting.’ Marina, ever pop, proposed ‘fullgás,’ merging intensity and impermanence,” notes Angela Marsiaj in the preface.
According to Marsiaj, Grieco channels the 1980s spirit into today’s sensibility, exploring love as both poetic expression and political freedom. “If an affair can end, imagination and emotion remain forever,” she adds.
