Camarote Allegria marks 10 years in 2026, expands its experience and confirms Ludmilla, Thiaguinho, Péricles, Belo and Pedro Sampaio.
Founded in 2016, Camarote Allegria enters its anniversary edition as one of the most established hospitality spaces at Rio’s Sambadrome. The concept still revolves around comfort, service and music curation, but this year it also highlights a broader mission: strengthening ties to samba culture beyond parade nights at Marquês de Sapucaí.
“Reaching 10 years is deeply symbolic. It’s not just about time—it’s about stories, meetups, emotions and a community that grows with us every Carnaval.”
That’s how partner-owner Diógenes Queiroz frames the milestone, pointing to the project’s evolution in structure, artistic direction and guest experience. In his words, Allegria was born on Sapucaí, but it now connects with Carnaval year-round—through people, samba schools and the city itself.
Beyond the avenue: samba roots and community
To celebrate its 10th year, Allegria extends its programming past the grandstands and into the heart of Carnaval culture. Highlights include visits to samba school headquarters such as Beija-Flor and Imperatriz, designed as an immersion into the tradition that fuels the spectacle seen on the avenue.
The message is straightforward: the parade doesn’t exist without the communities behind it. “Nothing on the avenue would exist without the roots—without the communities and the samba schools,” says Queiroz, describing the initiative as a way to build a more authentic connection to Carnaval’s story.
The club also plans occasional wellness activations in invite-only formats, aligning with the lifestyle and pace of its audience throughout the season.
Design, comfort and hospitality upgrades
The 2026 layout is once again designed by Caio Bocão, the architect behind Allegria’s signature look. This year brings a more integrated structure, with a larger overall footprint, an expanded mezzanine and redesigned areas aimed at smoother circulation and increased comfort.
Allegria’s official meeting point returns at the Sheraton Grand Rio Hotel & Resort, long established as the pre-parade gathering hub. For the anniversary, it adopts the “Grand Hotel” concept—drawing inspiration from the 1932 classic film—to reinforce the brand’s hospitality DNA before guests even reach Sapucaí.
Food remains a key pillar. In 2026, the venue keeps its premium all-inclusive service with a buffet signed by Tassi Lage, plus Temakeria & Cia bringing Japanese cuisine into the space to broaden choices during the night.
Lineup and after-parties across 9 dates
Camarote Allegria 2026 spans 9 event days, mixing major Brazilian acts, DJs and house projects like Allegria Takeover. The confirmed roster includes Ludmilla, Thiaguinho, Péricles, Pedro Sampaio, Belo and Banda Eva, reflecting the multi-genre soundscape that defines Rio’s Carnaval.
Its invite-only after-parties—among the most sought-after in the city during Carnaval—also return as a signature extension of the experience, keeping the celebration going long after the parades end.
