Camarote Portela opens to the public for test rehearsals

For the first time, Camarote Portela welcomes the public at Samba Parade test rehearsals: tickets for Feb 6–8 with open bar, DJ and samba.

One of the most sought-after spots on Rio’s Sambadrome is opening its doors during the Grupo Especial test rehearsals on the second weekend of February. The idea is simple: give fans a front-row feel for the final adjustments each school makes before Carnival’s main nights.

On February 6, 7 and 8, Camarote Portela is set to deliver a full-package experience: open bar, a DJ set, and a samba circle after the rehearsal every night. Tickets start at R$250 and are already on sale.

What’s included at Camarote Portela 2026

Known for selling fast, Camarote Portela offers one of the best vantage points in Sector 3, with access to the superfrisa area and an upper lounge. Your ticket includes open bar and an all-you-can-eat buffet throughout the event.

Between parade moments, the venue also hosts live samba shows. Round-trip transportation is included, leaving from the meeting point at JW Marriott Copacabana, where guests can pick up their ticket and customize their abadá shirt.

Confirmed live shows for Carnival 2026

The official parade-night schedule starts on February 13 with the “Sexta-Abre Alas” party featuring MARVVILA. On Saturday, February 14, Délcio Luiz takes the stage. On Sunday, February 15, Mauro Diniz is confirmed.

Monday, February 16 brings Xande de Pilares. Tuesday, February 17 features Diogo Nogueira. Closing out the run, the Champions’ Parade on February 21 will include a show by Revelação.

Scenography and what’s next

After a 2025 edition praised for immersive scenography designed to spark emotion, the brand says it is preparing new experiences for 2026 in partnership with Mango, with announcements coming soon.
