In just 6 days, Claudia Leitte delivered 8 shows, sold out every abadá, drew 700K in São Luís, and won 6 awards in Salvador — her most iconic Carnival yet.
A historic run across three states
Carnival 2026 turned into a landmark chapter for Claudia Leitte. Over six days of non-stop celebration, the Bahian superstar performed 8 shows across three Brazilian states — Bahia, Maranhão, and São Paulo — logging more than 24 hours on stage. The season confirmed her status as one of the most powerful forces in Brazilian popular music.
Wherever she performed, the crowds followed. Every abadá — the festive costume that grants access to her street block — sold out completely. In São Luís, capital of Maranhão, her appearance helped draw a record audience of roughly 700,000 people, a milestone for the city’s Carnival.
Most awarded artist in Salvador
The accolades matched the energy. Claudia walked away as the most awarded artist at Salvador Carnival, collecting six trophies across three outlets. iBahia honored her with Best Female Artist, Best Trio Lead, Best Street Block, and Best Theme Song. Itapoan FM named her Best Female Artist, and LF TV Folia recognized her as Best Trio Lead.
18 years solo, celebrated on the streets
The season’s finale carried deep personal meaning. The last night of her trio in Salvador, aboard the Bloco Largadinho, doubled as a tribute to 18 years of her solo career. The set revisited her legendary Copacabana concert — the defining moment when she stepped out on her own after leaving Babado Novo — mirroring the original show’s looks and setlist.
The emotional peak came at the end, when a water truck showered the crowd in a recreation of the rain that became forever tied to that iconic Copacabana night, bringing tears and cheers to the streets of Salvador.
“I finished this Carnival with my heart overflowing. These were intense days of full dedication, travel, and feeling that unique energy only our people have. Closing this marathon by celebrating my 18 years as a solo artist, in Salvador, at Bloco Largadinho, was incredibly symbolic. Revisiting that Copacabana show, recreating the rain with the water truck… it was like embracing my own history alongside the audience. When you do what you love, every effort is worth it. And living this in my homeland carries a meaning that words can’t explain.” — Claudia Leitte
A surprise gift for the fans: “Acostumei”
To close the season with a personal touch, Claudia surprise-released the single “Acostumei” right after the Bloco Largadinho wrapped on Tuesday, February 17. The track is a heartfelt tribute to the bond she has built with her fans over the years — a musical thank-you for sharing every step of the journey.
