Marina Ruy Barbosa was named Alma Rio 2026 ambassador at a Soho House preview, unveiling a Sapucaí lineup blending Brazilian grooves and global electronic acts.
The Alma Rio 2026 VIP box hosted its official preview last night (29) at Soho House in São Paulo. The invite-only gathering brought together press, partners, and guests to tease what the brand calls an “epic” edition at Rio’s Sambadrome, Marquês de Sapucaí.
The presentation was led by Alessandra Pirotelli—an entrepreneur with more than 26 years of experience as a director and producer of Rio de Janeiro’s Carnival—alongside Pedro Caldas, Marcelo Fonseca, Álvaro Garnero, and Grupo Live, represented by Guga Pereira and Wilson Anastácio.

One of the night’s key announcements was Marina Ruy Barbosa as the project’s ambassador. In her remarks, the actress pointed to the box’s artistic identity and the strength of its curation, emphasizing a lineup with a clear point of view.
“Coming back in 2026 as an ambassador makes me truly happy and honored. There’s a strong curation, a lineup with identity, and a quality that shows up naturally. It feels real. Alma has personality, its own language… it has soul.”
Lineup bridges Brazil and the club world
Beyond the celebrity buzz, the reveal centered on the Alma Rio 2026 lineup. Brazilian highlights include Pretinho da Serrinha, Gilsons, Mart’nália, and Marcelo D2.
International and club-facing names include Maxa, WhoMadeWho, Jamie Jones, Black Coffee, Miguelle & Tons, Ahmed Spins, Bhaskar, Bob Moses, Malive, Dennis Cruz, Niv Yefet, Carlita, and Unfazed, among others.
With a genre-crossing booking approach and a strong curatorial stance, Alma Rio positions its 2026 edition as a meeting point between Rio’s Carnival energy and artists who shape global festival and nightlife circuits.
