On the final night of Rio’s Grupo Especial parades, Camarote Alma Rio brought together Marina Ruy Barbosa, Marcelo D2 and Jamie Jones for an unforgettable night.
The last night of Grupo Especial ends in grand style
On Tuesday (17), the closing night of the Grupo Especial parades at Marquês de Sapucaí, Camarote Alma Rio delivered one of its most memorable evenings of Carnival 2026. The space’s ambassador, actress Marina Ruy Barbosa, was front and center, drawing a stellar lineup of Brazilian artists and business personalities.
Guests included musicians Charles Gavin and Mart’nália, actor Joaquim Lopes, singer Marcela Fogaça, and actress Alexia Deschamps. Entrepreneurs Camila Coutinho and Alexandre Accioly also joined the celebration, watching the parade from an enviable vantage point overlooking the avenue.
Music and dancing kept the crowd moving all night
The musical lineup was perfectly pitched for the occasion. Jamie Jones and Bob Moses led the house and electronic sets, while Miguelle & Tons kept the energy surging. The night’s defining moment came when Marcelo D2 brought the entire crowd together in a collective singalong, closing out the early hours in a spirit of pure joy and musical diversity.

Alma Rio’s hospitality remains its trademark
The warm, vibrant atmosphere that defines Camarote Alma Rio was once again shaped by its hosts: Alessandra Pirotelli, Grupo Live — represented by Guga Pereira and Wilson Anastácio —, alongside Álvaro Garnero, Pedro Caldas, and Marcelo Fonseca. Their vision continues to cement the venue as one of Rio Carnival’s most sought-after experiences.
