Psirico and Hungria have been confirmed for Aracati Carnival 2026, expanding a lineup that already includes Daniela Mercury, Léo Santana and Vintage Culture.
The latest announcements underline the city’s plan to broaden the party’s musical range and strengthen Aracati’s position as one of Ceará’s must-visit Carnival destinations. As a result, the celebration is expected to boost both the on-street experience and the local tourism economy.
Psirico brings Bahia’s axé on Tuesday, 17
With Psirico on the bill, Aracati adds an extra shot of Bahia’s axé energy. Known for pulling massive crowds and for hits like “Lepo Lepo,” the band performs on Tuesday, 17, aiming to turn the main avenue into a full-on street circuit.
The booking also boosts the Bahia presence in the program, which already features Daniela Mercury, Léo Santana and O Kanalha. That mix blends classic Carnival spirit with chart-friendly appeal.
Hungria lands on Friday, 13, with rap and trap
Hungria, one of Brazil’s best-known names in rap and trap, takes the stage on Friday, 13. His addition widens the genre palette and speaks directly to younger audiences tuned into today’s national music trends.
By bringing these sounds into the same roster, Aracati Carnival 2026 aims to connect generations while keeping the street-party identity at the center of the event.
Lineup spans axé, EDM, pop and forró
Beyond Psirico and Hungria, the confirmed program includes Daniela Mercury, Léo Santana and O Kanalha, reinforcing the axé and pagode axis. Meanwhile, other genres push the festival’s reach even further.
Highlights include DJ Vintage Culture, an international force in electronic music, and Melody, a pop phenomenon. Forró and Northeastern rhythms are also represented by Natanzinho Lima, Taty Girl, Zé Cantor and Matheus Fernandes.
City hall targets a landmark edition
Aracati’s mayor said the goal is to deliver a landmark edition, with direct effects on tourism, the local economy and the overall fan experience. According to her, the event reflects local culture while growing each year in structure, organization and musical diversity.
“Aracati Carnival represents our culture and, at the same time, it grows every year in structure, organization and musical diversity. Confirming Psirico and Hungria shows we’re preparing an unforgettable edition, with major artists from all over Brazil taking part in this celebration.”
With a blend that runs from axé to forró, from EDM to rap, expectations are high for intense movement across hotels, restaurants, retail and services during Carnival days in 2026.
