Anitta, Agatha Moreira, soccer legend Cafu, and over ten Brazilian celebrities turned heads at Rio’s Grupo Especial parade on Tuesday, Feb. 17.

A star-studded night at the Sambadrome

The Marquês de Sapucaí Sambadrome once again became the meeting point of samba, spectacle, and celebrity. On the third night of the Rio Carnival 2026 Grupo Especial parades, the bleachers and VIP boxes welcomed a remarkable lineup from entertainment, sports, and social media.

Anitta showed up in full carnival spirit, reaffirming her love for the world’s biggest street party. Power couple Sophia Abrahão and Sérgio Malheiros arrived together, while actresses Agatha Moreira and Nathalia Dill proved that samba is a language every performer speaks.

Sports icons and digital creators join the party

Brazilian football legend Cafu celebrated the night alongside Mariah Morais, while big-wave surfer Lucas Chumbo swapped the ocean for a shower of confetti, accompanied by Monise Alves.

Digital creators João Guilherme, Silvia Braz, and Camila Loures kept their audiences engaged from the Sambadrome, reinforcing how Rio Carnival has become one of Brazil’s biggest content events of the year.

Rounding out the night were actor Marcos Pitombo, actor José Loreto alongside Fernanda Marques, and journalist and comedian Fred, who made sure not to miss the show.
