Cinemato 2026 tackles Migration – human mobility and climate change. It counters stigmatizing stories, amplifying voices of refugees, climate-displaced people, and migrant workers.
From May 23-31, Cuiabá becomes Brazil’s cinema hub. Curators pick standout national works for dynamic screenings.
Films reframe dominant narratives, honoring quests for dignity, survival, and hope.
Diverse and Inclusive Lineup
The Competitive Showcase features selected features and shorts. Inclusive Screenings reach underserved audiences beyond theaters.
School Cinema engages kids and youth. Four workshops train pros, students, and audiovisual enthusiasts.
