AMC goes all-in on action this weekend
AMC turns the weekend into a full-blown action celebration. The centerpiece is a Mission: Impossible franchise marathon, running through Saturday and Sunday from late afternoon into prime time. The lineup includes Mission: Impossible, Mission: Impossible 2, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Mission: Impossible III, and Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation.
Friday kicks off with the premiere of Infinite Storm at 10 PM — a survival thriller that sets the tone for an intense weekend. Later that night, The Expendables 2 airs at 11:50 PM, followed by Escape Plan: The Extractors in the early hours.
AMC Series: The Walking Dead leads the binge
Over on AMC Series, the weekend belongs to television’s most iconic survivors. The Walking Dead takes over Friday and Sunday nights starting at 10 PM, with back-to-back episodes perfect for a full rewatch or catching up on missed chapters.
The schedule also features fan-favorite Halt and Catch Fire, the critically acclaimed drama about the personal computer revolution, alongside TURN: Washington’s Spies. True crime fans get their fix with Crime Scene: Did This Really Happen Here? at various time slots. Saturday night rounds out with Kevin Can F**k Himself and The Son.
Film&Arts: Oscar winners, concerts and cinema history
Film&Arts curates a refined lineup for audiences who want more than popcorn fare. Friday night at 10 PM brings Spotlight, the Oscar Best Picture winner that exposed the Catholic Church abuse scandal in Boston. Sunday features Legend at 5:50 PM and closes with Macbeth at 10 PM.
Music lovers won’t be left out. The channel screens Alphaville at the Berlin Philharmonic and soprano Hyesang Park at the Teatro Colón. Rounding out the cultural offerings is the special Clint Eastwood – A Life in Cinema, a tribute to one of Hollywood’s most enduring legends.
